LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a financial firm in the western suburbs of Chicago to identify a Sr. Linux Administrator to join their team. This individual will be involved in assisting them in building out a brand new Linux environment. This is a 9-12 month contract with the potential to convert to full time. Sr. Linux Administrator Responsibilities Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer clustersservers and software. Day-to-day operations of the systems including systems administration, monitoring and storage performance up to and including network components. Documenting system administration procedures for routine and complex tasks. Sr. Linux Administrator Requirements Experience provisioning Linux operating systems required. Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Perl or Bash, is required.
